Zindagi ek dhundhli si lakeer....
Khwab aur haqeeqat ke darmyan...
sulah karane ki koshish mein....

kabhi gehri kabhi halki....
har pal sharmsaar si chalti rahi...

Bojhal qadmo.n se saza ko naapte huye...
Ek samjhaute mein jakdi.....
pal pal apni qeemat khoti rahi...

Yun to lakeer lambi hoti gayi...
Yun hi zindagi kat.ti gayi...............!

jus' looking out of the rain streaked glass..
& tried to rub off the smudges.. a cleanliness freak.! :)
the spots don't change, they were on the other side of glass..!

Even p'ple on the other side seem distorted & 'flawed'...
Such is the impact of 'perception' on personal opinion...
Its not always true.!

Next time i shall roll down the glass of 'past experiences'...
The world may 'seem' a tad better.. for a change.! :)

I Wish...........
..i drift on a raft..............
..without any oars.........
..guided by the currents.........

..i lie down facing the clear nitesky........
..and the stars fall one by one into my eyz.....

..to replace the tender pearls that roll out........
..endlessly.... painlessly................

..my hazy vision searches out the moon.........
..which feels embarassed to face me............

..and keeps hiding.........
..behind any cloud that comes its way............

..unable to meet my expectations..............
..it refused to acknowledge me today............

..i smiled...........................
..ek aur "dost" ne aaj saath chhod diya......!!
